Hi there,
This could happen if you have a corrupt save. You can find out if that's the case by going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\SaveGame\ and making a backup of your SaveGame folder. Then delete the folder from its original location and launch the game. It should create a new folder once you launch the game again. You can then check and see if it works and try to move your old folder into its original location to see if you're able to recover the save.I hope this helps.
