NFS Unbound - Unable to launch on Steam Oct, 23rd

@EA_Illium Same here, can't launch Unbound throug Steam or EA App. I tried the following without success:

- Verify Unbound files
- Clear App cache (as official forum states)
- Verify drivers, and update them
- Reinstall Game
- Proper PC reboot
- Disable antivirus only to launch the game (Avast in my case)

Seeing that other people has this issue, I can mostly confirm that is not hardware issue by my side. Also, since it first happened without updating anything, should not being also a software issue. I suspect trouble connecting Steam with the EA App (probably authenticating the ownership), which may cause that closing without any prompt or error.

I too have been unable to even launch the game through steam, the EA app, or via the exe. It gets to preparing but then suddenly just opens the ea app again with no error message or anything.

Also have tried to reboot, clear cache for both the EA app and the game, reinstall both the EA app and the Game. It's always the same. Preparing game, stops for a few seconds, then I'm just back staring at the EA app.

Same, game just wont launch and nothing helps. At the same time 2015 NFS works great!

I was able to play a few times since the 8.0 hotfix for the CPU usage, and can confirm that issue went away.

However since Oct 22, my game will not launch at all, from EA or Steam.

I have already:

excluded the EA | Electronic Arts | Excalibur folders in my Windows Defender

Cleared EA APP Cache and reinstall

Verify game files with steam

Updates Nvidia drivers to current

Reinstalled Game via Steam and verified exlusions set

I will provide a DXDiag when im home.

Hey, I play Unbound on Steam, and the game does not launch. I've noticed a lot of people having this problem in the previous year, and yet here we are with the vol 8 update, and the problem continues. I paid $70 for this game, and i can't even play it ? This terrible EA launcher won't let me launch the damn game, i demand a refund or a fix for this * problem. 

Things I've done so far so you don't have to: reinstall the game, reinstall the EA app, , clearing cache, update windows, update nvidia drivers, bypassing the Windows firewall and placing nfs unbound in it AGAIN, Closing anti-cheats for other games such as FACEIT; nothing has worked so far.
