Supercharger whine audio not working

This bug has been in this game since the beginning. Also happened in heat which is what made me quit that game. The supercharger whine will stop working when you start a race. The only way to fix it is to turn the car off then turn it back on. This is impossible to do when racing and in pursuit. Please fix this bug it ruins the game for me.
