unbound "Game already running" error
Hi, i just got my game but every time i tried to start it from steam or EA play or running it as administrator it keeps saying that the game is already running, while in reality, noting is opened. Why is this happening and is there a fix to it? I tried reinstalling the game multiple times and check the game files as well, nothing seems to be working. I tried running the SFC and checked all the updates, did the clean boot. Please help me, i am so close to getting a refund on the game!
Thanks for letting us know what you are running into, when you have a moment can we try all of the following steps:
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (Library > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Close other running applications on your device
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Check Drivers, Default to High-Performance GPU: Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Restart your device in Clean Boot mode, then just try running the client and game
