I kinda understand what you guys are saying about the level of competitiveness of online vs playing by yourself. But to me, it’s the level of customization you can have offline vs on that seals the deal big time… I get to choose the way I want to play and no rare moment of rush of beating a guy online, with all the aggravation that comes with it, is ever gonna beat that…

And I get to break less controllers this way 😉😆

Now back to the topic, is it possible that people playing with (Gaming mode) on their TV could have an impact ? Less input lag, less latency… Maybe something to think about 🤔

I can relate, also what Aljo said about "online play offers a totally different level of competition".

Thoose two in combination was enough for me to get back for some more.

But damn its hard to know when enough is enough.

Yes. We always recommend enabling game mode. That can cut down significantly on input lag.

On PS5 at least, I don't notice any difference between using Game mode and Sport mode. Mind you, my current 4k TV is more on the bargain side of things... will be easy enough to test once in I bring in big boy LG C2. Generally speaking though, yes, Game mode is what we should all be playing.

Your displayed connection could be wrong as well - Been a problem with NHL for years and I doubt it will ever get fixed. Just the other day my screen said HIGH population (no, seriously, it's real) with an average search of about 35 seconds. My buddy on the other hand said his should Low population and an average search of 1 minute+

Can you get me some video of both of these issues? I played PS teams the other night on Xbox One and had no problem poking them.
