I have the same problem even in offline like be a pro and franchise it reads my headset as a controller and won’t let me play I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps and even uninstalled and reinstalled it and called ea help multiple times this company is disappointing and losing my hope for a fix after multiple calls to get help what a joke to charge 100$ for this game and not even help your customers.

What controller and headset are you using? If you turn off the headset, does the same issue happen?
I use the controller I got with my Xbox series x and a tired a different one and I use a turtle beach wireless usb head set of my head set is off I can play but I paid a lot for this headset and my friend has a almost identical one and his works fine

Are you able to plug in your headset to your controller? Does it also make a difference if your controller is plugged in? Is the firmware for your controller and headset up to date?
