Lost connection - When playing offline HUT

I moved to PS5 a few days ago and I am still getting the issue of being disconnected from EA servers but it happens way, way more than on PS4.

IT says "You have lost your connection to EA servers. Please check your network connection."

Well... I have an extremely fast internet, very stable, and the router/modem sits next to me. If it's down my TV goes off and I see it on the device instantly.

During the day I have many devices connected to my modem/router and my PS5 is connected with a LAN cable. I tried on the wifi and there was absolutely no difference btw.

When this happens, my internet is staying connected to every other device and the speed is normal on all devices at home. Streaming on my computer does not flinch one bit. Even when everybody else is asleep, and all other devices not using data, again no difference.

Also, this only happens when I launch a game offline; challenges or Squad Battles or offline Chel. When I play Rivals I have a different random hexa number error saying I was disconnected. If I try to reconnect right away, works 100% of the time.

So this is 100% a game issue, otherwise it would disconnect me randomly when I am using the AH or building a set, or upgrading my team... or even I would lose connection while in game or in the menus doing nothgin. But none of that ever happened.

It's when I start a game, randomly, and it does not happen when I do anything else. Only as I start a game offline.

Am I the only one having this issue? Is there something I can do to fix it?

Yup, this happened to me on several occasions this year. As well as previous years, nothing has ever been done. I've reported several times over the years. This has cost me higher ranks in SB. It's extremely frustrating.

I have gone over everything in previous posts. The whole power cycle, uninstall/reinstall shtick, changed my mac address. Switched ISP's, gotten a brand new modem and all HDMI and ethernet cords.
I have found nothing that can correct the issue, it only happens to me once a a blue moon usually. But has happened to me twice already this year in 3 weeks of SB's
Ps Also I have never experienced this anywhere but SB's. The OP mentions it happening in challenges and other offline modes. I have not experienced these events.

@EA_Aljo Well I'm an IT guy and usually good for troubleshooting in the right order but I don't see how my brand new PS5 and a fresh install of the game would create that with the very powerful internet I have. I tried to launch a few games from my work phone's hotspot but as this is extremely random I guess I'll need to keep doing it for a longer period of time despite that connection being way to slow to play seriously... and see if I get the error while using this connection as well. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for trying that. If you don't get any disconnects, that points to an issue with the normal connection you play on.

@EA_Aljo So I tried to play a Hut Rush game just now, got a: Failed to retreive data; please try again later, with an error code with 3x 16digit hexa code.
Then I jumped on my work phone hotspot to see if I would go trough, but I got the same error as well when I tried to play a game again.

So far on my hotspot I didn't have the " You were disconnected from the EA servers error" but again it's so random and can't play on the hotspot all the time, usually If I go from my wired connection to my wifi connection the next attempt at playing works.

You say the next game works when switching to wireless. Does the next game after that disconnect?

Any updates on this? My 9 year old son is losing his mind, and I don't blame him. Roughly 300 mbps, I'm streaming video calls all day in the same space and he's dropping at least 3 out of every 10 offline HUT Squad Battle.
You all going to fix this anytime soon?
