Community ManagerI think passing using those button combinations is going to be pretty uncommon. However, we also are getting very few reports of this. In other cases, it was an issue with the controller so it would be good to try a new one just to be sure.
I have now done the following to try and remedy this situation with nothing working:
Reset controller
Deleted and reinstalled NHL 23
Deleted Saved data for NHL 23
Plugged in Controller
Changed all controller settings
Replaced spring in R2 trigger
Still the same issue. With the haptic response I feel the vibration as if I’m charging up a pass, but when released nothing. Even quick taps do nothing.
Try turning off the Haptic Feedback in the PS5 settings. I know when I had a specialty controller on Xbox my passing was messed up because of the triggers not going down all the way and such.
I use my PS5 to play the PS4 version which doesn't use any special trigger effects and still have issues
