Hey, everyone. We investigated this and found this is intentional due to being a Ones match. That mode (and Threes Eliminator) has arcade settings as opposed to the rest of the game. This shouldn't be happening in the other modes. WoC, Online Versus, HUT, Franchise, BaP, etc. If you see it happening in those modes, please get some video so we can look in to it further. Thanks!
@EA_Aljo this isn’t just happening in arcade modes. This happens in every WOC game mode as well as online vs and it happens FAR TOO OFTEN. I will play 30 seconds of an online vs game at some point today and provide you with video proof because I know you’re gonna ask for it. Also, arcade mode or not… that shouldn’t be a thing where sticks goes through legs.

Here is video evidence. Online versus.
My player is in full stride. My opponent is not in proper position to poke check. No penalty.
This happens a ridiculous amount of times a game.
Even when my opponent tries to spam aim assist poke to intercept pucks. Their stick constantly goes through not only my skates / legs but my teammates.

Thanks for the video. The reason there is no trip here is because the poke is on the outside of their leg. In your clip, the poke is made and the carrier then skates through the stick. The next time you take a tripping call, check the replay and you'll see what I mean. It's easier to see than explain. The stick needs to hit the skate on the outgoing poke without it missing and ending up on the outside of the leg.
