Xfactor/ability ideas

My idea is to eliminate all the x factor crap because its helped make this game a total mess that looks and feels nothing like hockey.

I’m fully assuming this is trolling 100% lol. If so, I wouldn’t put it past EA to actually think people would want this in the game. Don’t give them any ideas 

Hot Sauce - Puts more air and accuracy on MANUAL saucer passes for less ability to be picked off (gold version only for Playmaker and Puck Moving Dman) 

Tied Up -  Increase tie-up ability in front of the net  (gold version TWF and TWD)

Goalie:

Hugs-  In close shots result in faster limb movement.  (gold version Butterfly)  (counter to Close Quarters)

Silver versions for all them

Explain? If you use well xfactors shouldn't be in the game then move along because they're here to stay. No point in crying over spilt milk, instead we try to make the feature better in any way possible. 

However if you have a legit reason why they're awful, then I'm all ears.

Unfortunately abilities aren't locked to gold or silver they're interchangeable. Although it'll be a better system to have a stronger/weaker versions of each.

Isn’t that just what they do on yearly basis, just to put it back and advertise it as a new feature? 🙃 It’s just how they work as a business.

In all seriousness, all the bugs and inconsistencies should be ironed out before any new cartoonish x-factors are put in. For the least, fix already implemented x-factors. So many of them are currently broken,

The thing is the ones you have come up with here just add more RNG and scripting to a game that already suffers from too much RNG and things out of control of player input.

Agitator - Truculence already exists, which saps half your energy when hit, reducing your players attributes from being sapped of energy as it is. You pair this with truculence and it would be busted

Actor - in order for this to even have an effect, it would mean that things that normally wouldn’t be penalties would have to be called. Nobody wants to not even hit the stick lift button, or not even poke check and have a player dive forcing you into the box.

Negotiator - Again, this would mean that a team that takes a penalty, will get it overturned further rewarding bad play.

Golden Glove - Like I said before, truculence exists, the game is already an arcade Hits game as it is. 

Team Player and Selfish : These are both Xfactors that are only made for AI players? Take a team friendly deal, or make the greedy or a pass first type of player? Shot Bias sliders already exist for you to edit in the game, or when creating a player for offline modes so these aren’t needed. You can set a players shot bias in their stat editing page.

I’m personally not a fan of these myself, for the same reasons @TITAN_NHL mentioned.

I also don’t think these are really X Factors, they are more like player tendencies.

If you are talking strictly franchise mode and be a pro, I’d love to see AI tendencies/personalities. I just think they should influence player actions and positioning, not introduce scenarios that would negatively influence games.
