2 local player on same console playing against eachother
Am new to XBox and NHL24.
Please advise if and how it is possible for two local players (each with own controller) connected to the same XBox console to play on opposing teams in NHL24 (e.g player 1 vs. player 2).

Try going into Play Now. You can find this in the Offline menu. Make sure both controllers are turned on and connected/paired with the console. You should see 2 controller icons. Using the D pad or left stick, select the side each of you wants to play for and hit the A button. You then can choose your team. Once both teams are selected, you should, a menu should come up where you can edit settings and lines as well as start the game. Hit Start Game to load into the game and play each other.
