@Twin1788 First off, you should break the video up into clips so that each one may be discussed individually. You're making it very hard to get feedback when it's just a jumbled mess of clips like that.
Second, you should first show the goal happen in real time (just press "play" on the replay) so that we can see it how it actually happened and THEN show us a slow-downed version where you zoom in or what have you.
Those are just some tips that come to mind after WANTING to help you but then realizing that the time I'd have to put into referencing each clip and addressing them as-is is too much. That said, here's a little bit of feedback:
1st clip: You got baited into moving your defenseman out of position in the low slot, giving him a lane to do his spin-o-rama move. If you had just stayed where you were you could have likely impeded his progress with a hit. Since you were out of position coming back down the slot, maybe a stick lift would have worked in that situation. Then again, it's Wayne Gretzky and it's HUT so... yeah.
2nd clip (Lemieux): That's honestly just a combination of a creative move and a bad goal given up by your goalie. You could have prevented it by keeping your left D closer to the post and, again, cutting him off with body-contact.
3rd clip: Your AI defensemen got caught flat-footed. I have no idea why such a high-rated D-man such as Hedman wouldn't be able to read the play and maintain a better gap coming out of the offensive zone but skeptics would probably say "You should have switched to your defenseman earlier!" As far as the goal goes, pretty classic short-side backhand cheese.
4th clip (Matthews one-T): You just got beat there. Matthews was ahead of your back-checker. You probably should have attempted to stick-lift him right before the puck arrived.
5th clip (Eichel): That was a whacky goal. It's one of those that is cool to see IRL but IMO is just frustrating in a video game. He probably shouldn't have been able to get good contact on that puck. Again, you could have pushed up on your RS to initiate a hit and disrupt him from receiving the puck, though. (For the love of god please learn how to "feather" the R2 button so that the clip plays in slow-motion. It's nauseating to watch it "stop and go" like that lol).
6th clip: No words for that one. What was your goalie doing? You weren't even under full pressure. That was a bad goal. Also, you completely sold out for the hit there and missed it completely. I know lag can play a part in this but that shot being taken was your fault at the end of the day.
That's all I have time for. Thanks for the clips!
