naw, they 'nerfed' the dump puck so that it acted more as a chip off the glass from the D-Zone. The problem with it right now is that it lacks velocity and basically doesn't respond to being 'charged up'. It's a slow lob and just needs to be tuned so it's a little more effective.
It wasn't designed to entice puck ragging for the pressure system. But that being said, the pressure system is garbage and needs to go.

It's clearly stated right here that it was nerfed due to the pressure system, which has basically turned into a puck ragging system.

I know it also states that it was changed to help with chipping off the glass, but they could have easily implemented a better control for that without getting rid of the full ice flip, so I'm not buying that reasoning at all.
I simple hockey play that happens frequently has been removed, but yet you can do a Michigan that rarely happens over and over ridiculous
Yeah this is something super weird. Michigan which should be difficult to do, you can do it by pressing just one button.
but dumping a puck which is basicly just a quick wristshot is removed. Probably because of this stupid pressure system.
EA it is a shame how much bad feedback you get about this game. Now we also see that you dont care about players opinions. You dont even try to fix this game. If you release update to the game, its just makes game more unplayable.
Sorry to say this but i think there is only one way to get better nhl game —> whole game developement team should ne changed.
I am angry to myself why i was so stupid and bought this game. But this is not going to happen never again. Im done.
