I don't feel like the hipcheck is being misused here - yes, they are typically used along the boards to separate the carrier from the puck, but mid-ice hits still happen from time to time. If we're gonna add clipping (and change controls to adjust the height of our hits) to the game, they better re-add boarding, hits from behind, and actually enforce interference and "unsportsmanlike" penalties

Community ManagerHey, everyone. Just a quick update. We're keeping an eye on the reports of hipchecking being OP. It's currently being investigated. Thanks for all the feedback.
By all means buff shoves and regular checks in order to combat ballerinas but this hip checking meta right now in 6s is just beyond dumb and unrealistic.
