NHL 24 X-factor edition price increase to 109.99€ / most economical approach
You might have noticed here on the forums that this year you can't stack multiple discounts for NHL 24 unlike previous years when you could combine EA play 10% discount and NHL menu 10% discount. Link for official statement.
So trying to find a another both most economical way and fastest way how to get into NHL 24 with X-factor edition bonuses... I used a web called psprices, to track past NHL games discounts. I found out that both NHL 22 and NHL 23's first discounts happened in November almost exactly same day. First went on sale on 18th November, the other 19th November and both discounts ran to 28th November / 29th November. I added 4 screenshots including standard edition prices down below so you can see prices of both. In my opinion we can expect same discount in the same time frame. Standard edition discounts run from 18th November to 28th and are followed by X-factor edition discounts after 28th November in another series of sales in both comparison cases.
Since NHL 24 X-factor increased it's price by 10€. It's also possible that NHL 24's X edition will be 10€ more expensive in the first batch of discounts. We'll simply have to see. Discounted prices like this would mean that you'd have to wait approximately 2 months, (from 3th October to 28th November) before getting into NHL. This waiting approach would save you approximately 45€ (109.99 - 64.99), taking +10€ price increase into consideration (approximated price of NHL 24 X-factor edition after a discount and with price increase is 64.99€).
Waiting 2 months and getting the game at least 45€ cheaper, possibly even cheaper than that, seems like a great window to start playing NHL 24. Since HUT is kinda dead first two weeks without any big appealing events like the Winter event. Next batch of discounts according to psprices usually happens in February. So no Christmas sale. Last NHL I remember to go on sale during Christmas break was NHL 17. If you wait till February sale, you'll only save 5€-10€ more than in the first November sale so in my opinion, it's not worth to wait three more months.
The value of NHL points inside an NHL 24 X-factor edition is 4600 points = 40€. So pre-ordering X-factor edition for 109.99€ basically gives you those 4600 points for the original price 40€ without any max edition discount. You can check how much do NHL points cost for NHL 23 yourself to double check me if you want but buying NHL points separately would be as expensive as buying X-factor edition which kinda sucks too. Anyways I'll add the standard edition price comparison screenshots for November below and hopefully I helped some players to decide on their purchase. Especially since I know psprices web is not so known among people.
