Patch 1.1.0 Feedback Thread

Thanks for the update @EA_Aljo . Also, I think its worth passing on to the Dev team that when someone is queuing for a drop in 6v6 search, by  DEFAULT everyone's matchmaking settings are defaulted to  "Use Best Game Location" = "Yes" instead of "Relaxed". I think this is almost certainly contributing to the problem, as when a lobby gets formed, if the player that gets assigned the "Leader" position has Best Game Location to "Yes" then its going to be harder for that group to find a match.

I suggest among any other fixes that are in the works, that by default "Use Best Game Location" should be set to Relaxed.

I really like a lot of the changes brought to NHL 24, but still there so many things wrong with it from a defending perspective in EASHL:

1) Poke checks aren't strong enough against players with high speed / agility. Any attempt knocks off the puck for a split second before the attacker picks up the puck again and flies by due to the defender speed penalty.

2) The stick lift is still completely useless, to a point where I don't even use it when there would be a 99% success chance in real life.

3) While two essential defensive mechanics are still broken, attackers can now execute all kinds of dekes successfully at the push of a single button. This is valid even after the latest changes and completely unbalanced.

Easily. I really love that instead of fixing the same bugs that have been in the game since at least 21, they decided to make a ton of changes but keep all of the same old bugs whilst also adding new ones. It really takes a special crew to make such amazing changes to the game... The game is barely worth playing which is a real shame. I'd like to think EA cares but I would be lying if I said they did. 

why are the goalies not able to save the puck when it in front of them??!!

But if you the coach tells your team to just shoot one-timers, or skate backwards for example, you should be able to do it. 

When is create a player getting fixed?

Any exact date on the patch date that will bring back old controller settings?
