I would guess the reasoning would be that PC is infested with cheaters. If they brought it to cross play between console and PC. I wouldn't buy it. Period.
Having it a stand alone though would be nice as I also have a PC.
Absolute L take
No it's not. Seems like a good reason, although I'm sure it's not the only reason.
PC games require an entirely different support infrastructure. You have to provide consumer support that takes into account the myriad of different hardware and OS configurations. You'll have users running 20+ apps on their windows computer, fire up NHL and then complain it's 'choppy & slow'. Multiply that ad nauseam.
Rather than invest into a PC platform where much of the money is spent propping up support systems, use that money to invest in more dedicated servers in AWS across different geographical areas, improving connection quality across HUt and WoC. Hire more engineers to work on gameplay and features, etc/
The dude thinks that the sole reason for not making pc version is 'pc cheaters' to which I say - nonsense. Then you disagree with me saying that it could be a reason.... but there is probably more than just that...
do you follow the conversation or just post for the sake of posting?

I disagreed that it was an " L take". Cheating could very well be a reason and they weren't wrong. I felt I could add to the discussion by laying out some more reasons why a PC release likely won't happen.
Are you okay?
