Control lag
OK I'm now at the point I want to cancel my ps plus. The only game I like to play online is hut in nhl24. I've played earlier additions to. The lag time in the controls online is absolutely brutal....

I'd be able to connect a wire.
I test my ps4 connection and it says it's strong so let's skip the basics.

Can you try a wire? Even with a strong connection, chances are excellent you'll experience lag/disconnects on wireless. Especially, if the the router is in another room.
I tried using a wire. Same thing. It really takes any fun out of the game when you can't do a thing, just let your opponent skate around you like you're a bag of pucks. I'm done with this crap.
