Game Crashing

Product: NHL 24
Platform:PlayStation 5
What is your gamertag/PSN ID? LifeCoachDave
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Squad Battles of Club games
What happens when the bug occurs? The game is crashing for no reason. Says it is disconnected from PSN but it is not.
What do you expect to see? Not crashing
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online
Insert Game Mode or Feature here Squad Battles and Club
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 7PM NST
What is your time zone? CNT - GMT - 3:30

Link to YouTube video of crash. Club members are getting dropped from games a lot this week as well.

This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks I got dropped from a TOTW squad battle that will cost me my place in the top 100 which I always get.

So frustrating.

Today's disconnect was most likely due to the update that just went out. Which was announced here. As far as the once a week disconnect goes, that's still odd since you're on a wired connection. There are a lot of different reasons it could happen though. One thing you should check is your IPv. If you're on IPv6, disable that on your router so that IPv4 is used instead.

No. Fiber, hardwired, CAT6. No issues with internet or any other game. This is also happening to my club teammates with 2ms ping in QC and guys in Ontario as well.
The game says that PSN is disconnected but that is not the case.
Or other times the game just randomly crashes mid game.

Just to be clear, this has only happened twice in 3 weeks? How many games have you played in that time? Was this occurring before 3 weeks ago as well?

That message happens when a disconnect occurs. A crash would actually take you back to the PS5 dashboard. This does appear to be connection related. We can go through some troubleshooting for that. However, this is going to be very difficult to track down. Especially with it happening so infrequently.

It happens about twice a week during squad battles. Maybe once per week in EASHL. Not game crashes, but the game saying you are disconnected from PSN when you are not.
Cost me another week of Top 100 this week!! Just happened again around 1205 EST.
