i am having trouble with puck control in nhl 24

Community ManagerYou just have to skate into the puck. If you're instantly passing, most likely, there's an issue with your controller. A good way to test this would be to try using a different controller to see if it still happens. Which control scheme are you using? If you're using Skill Stick or Total Control, try switching to Hybrid as a test. Hybrid using the A/X button to pass. So, if it's an issue with RT/R2, it shouldn't be present in the Hybrid controls.
No, I’m not hitting pass right away. My controller is fine. If all you’re gonna do is tell people to check their controllers because you don’t even know what to do. That’s one thing but don’t make it out like we’re stupid. I’m not hitting pass I can’t even get the damn pocket to pass it.

It's very rare we get this report and it's always been a controller issue in the past. Can you please try what I suggested? It would also be good to get a video of what's happening. You can put that up on a service like YouTube and link it in a response.
As someone else suggested, did you check the puck control slider? That would only apply to offline modes outside of HUT though.

Try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 24. It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System. Locate NHL 24 and delete the saved data.

I absolutely understand that. I'm just saying I can't think of anything else that would cause this. Since you won't get me a video and you won't confirm you tried another controller, I can't rule it out.
Did you check to make sure the controller firmware is up to date? Instructions for that can be found here.
- @EA_Aljo I am on ps5 and both of my controllers are up to date and I still have this butter finger bug everytime one of my players gets near the puck
