This is attempted before the start of the game, just after teams are selected. Prior to the start of the game. Away team can edit and sub scratched players but the home team cannot sub players, only move active players

Not sure what a video will do but when you go to scratched players and try to press "x" (PS5) or square it just doesn't let you. Home team can't make subs with players that are scratched before the game when editing lines. Away team works normal for me. (Files too large to record and send vid)

Hey, @rburns3186. We're currently investigating this. For now, you should be able to edit your lines in the Rosters screen and load in to Play Now games with it.
Hi guys, just checking in to see if the development team has verified this issue and is working towards a fix. I've been having the same issue since release on the Xbox One, and the issue still exists after the latest patch. If two player-controlled teams are attempting to edit their lineup before a game while playing on the same console, the Home team is unable to swap players at all without using "Quick-Swap." The Away team is able to substitute players throughout the lineup as intended.
I don't see editing lines in the Rosters screen as a viable solution, as this will create permanent changes to a team's lineup. This also prevents the players from making changes to lineups during an offline Playoff series.
