PS5 disc & PS4 X-factor edition not linking

Question

I purchased a disc for my PS5 and have been playing for a few weeks.&nbsp; Now I'm at another location (with a PS4) for 3 weeks and I wanted to use my progress.&nbsp; I bought the X-factor edition on my PS4.&nbsp; How can I link these two installs?&nbsp; Do I have to install the X-factor edition over the disc version on my PS5 for my PS4 to use the progress?

The PS4 and PS5 versions of NHL 24 are treated as separate games. Unfortunately, you cannot transfer your PS5 progress to the PS4 version.

So NHL 24 is different than FC 24? &nbsp;Both being EA, I assumed they would be the same.&nbsp;

As far as I know, this is how it works with FC 24. However, I also am not as familiar with that game so it's possible your progress carries over between both versions. If you play the PS4 version of NHL 24 on PS5, it will carry over that progress to a PS4 since it's actually the PS4 version you're playing.
