I'm a fan of the slower gameplay, you actually have time to set up plays now. No more just outrunning people up the ice for an easy goal.

This was the intent. It should help encourage more team play, moving the puck around, setting up good scoring chances and such. Glad to see you're liking it. It was a bit of an adjustment for me at first, but didn't take long to start really enjoying it.
Please speed up the gameplay this is wayyy slower than 24

The game speed in general is slower. This was a pretty big request from the community. You also don't have the speed boosts that were in the game previously so it's going to be slower. This should help teams rely more on authentic hockey play rather than run and gun strategies based on speed.
Wow, that's bad. So it'll never be fixed? terrible imo for a change needs to be like 24 fast

We'll have to wait and see what other feedback we get on this. It's very possible there will be tuning updates.
I agree with NYR224. I guess removing the speed boosts is fine but the game feels like all players are in quicksand right now.

The game speed is actually one of the best improvements of the game. It was so egregiously and unrealistically fast in 24. It actually plays more like hockey now.
It took a few games to get used to the change but overall I enjoy the slower gameplay too. Makes you have to have more team play overall then just outrush the opposing players
But as of yesterday. The speed was up.. Tap Tap Tap. Skate Skate Skate. AI D standing stupid and Diamond above players exploiting all day and making the game no fun unrealistic and unplayable.

The update did not change the speed. It's the same that went live with early access a week ago.
I can't state for online play as I don't personally play it but the slower paced games are closer to realistic as it can be. The AI at least offline does seem to be better and actually work into some sort of position fairly well (does it make mistakes still yes - but at least for 25 I can see that my bad position is usually the cause of most of it.
The stamina also took a few games to get a feel for but seems to be more realistic as well, seeing most players have 45 sec shifts in real life, if you push the speed of one player it will loose it faster. This seems to work well for offline play but I can see how it can cause issues for online as that overall seems to be more arcade style of gameplay (lack of stoppages and dumps into the zone to make line changes).
I personally wouldn't want to see either the speed or stamina changed as it simulates a more realistic on ice experience.
Been in lobby for 30 mins in woc this game sucks so much already day 1 ..also double charged me I hate EA
