Gameplay overall is the best it's been in a long time. Now there are some problems and things missing that I'm not too happy about, but I believe they will be corrected in a timely manner. I'm definitely enjoying the 6v6 scene immensely.
I disagree. Been an avid NHL Gamer for years. The worst NHL Games were NHL 15 and 24 as far as I can recall. NHL 25 is a step in the right direction, but there are a few tweaks they can adjust, but I believe EA can do it.
Could you justify this somehow?
This NHL is best one in a long time. Why?
Most important thing is speed which affects everything in this game. Game is more realistic and you really need to create goal scoring opportunities. Speedyboys can no compete in this game.
Hopefully EA wont touch the speed of the game or if they do, lower it, don't raise it!!
For speedyboys there is icehockey game in Steam (Slapshot: Rebound). You can go play that if you dont like realistic hockey.It was great at first with the slower game speed then yesterday for some reason EA decided to up the game speed to max, now the game feels like NHL 24 but worse. I hope they fix this immediately!

The speed has not changed.
I don't think 2k even has a game anymore. I think it is hard to make things great for everyone and stick to realistic hockey last year was great when it came out ea does at least make regular changes this one does definitely need updating especially with the player speed , but every year people complain and keep buying
I cant agree more. This game is made for the knob enthusiasts. Fun factor zero. Just terrible.

25 is probably the best game we’ve gotten since 22. Only thing they really need to fix is the cpu D constantly getting burned on 3v3 and goalies being garbage against the shots that always go in.
