We don't have a monopoly. While we have the only NHL game, there is no exclusivity. Anyone can acquire the NHL branding for their own game.

Fatigue is a factor. So are the routes taken while skating - limiting motions that interrupt your forward momentum. This hardly gets mentioned because people see attributes as black/white. They expect a player with 90 SPD to outskate a player with 80 SPD every single time. That's unrealistic. McDavid can be beat by inferior skaters at the end of his shifts in real life.

Can you get me video showing the stick passing through bodies and retaining control of the puck? It should be coming loose.

I haven't had any issues with taking slapshots. Have you tried a different controller? It's also possible you're not quite making the motion right. 

Can you also get video showing slower players outskating faster ones?

Agree, I downloaded it for free on game pass last week and while it's fun to play because it's a hockey game it's terrible. Like every EA game especially the sports games. It's just the most unrealistic simulation every time and it's supposed to be realistic simulation sports play. What a freaking joke. I got an idea don't let the CPU skate faster in hockey or run faster in football with a player that has 10 to 15 speed points lower than the other person. Lol I mean in hockey the computer just ravaged you with hits all game long and you do a replay and they didn't even drop a shoulder that into a check. They just skated into you and half the time your players go down meanwhile 50% of the time when you actually get a good shot on a CPU player they're not even affected

And let's not even get started on the magical stick they can go through peoples legs and defender sticks without losing the puck, which makes this game **bleep**ing horrible. Am I still gonna play? Of course I don't have older versions. Am I gonna buy college football next year? Of course there's no other alternatives but it doesn't mean the game is good.. 

I don't understand how this can be a step in the right direction when the CPU hockey stick is magical and can go through players's legs and sticks constantly. Do an instant replay anytime the computer goes into the boards with players around them and just spins around not using the move just skating in a circle and you'll see their stick go through multiple defenders, leg sticks, etc., while maintaining possession of the Puck. This alone makes this game borderline on playable and then you add on top of the CPU hitting the garbage slap shot. I mean Jesus, mari and Joseph if I pull back on the trigger and spring it forward I want the slap shot. I don't care if it's blocked. I don't care if it's hit but I want to attempt a slap shot not 50% of the time for it to be a fake shot or go into the glide motion or you can only do a wrister/snap shot. It's the same with all their games. They don't have the backend programming to make it real realistic simulation. They have the back on programming of the CPU must always win, which is why the user CPU players are always trash like your defenders in hockey or your offensive line in college football or your cornerbacks and the CPUCPU players Are always playing like they're 99 overall
I mean, how many games is he gonna put out where you go look at the stats of a player and you got a guy that is 10 points lower and speed than you and he outrun you or out skate you with pure speed but yet he's not faster than you and your acceleration is faster than the CPU etc. etc. every EA game is the exact same trash

Sometimes I wonder if the developers even actually play the games the design. They seem to think what they design is what fans want without actually doing the research. It's almost laughable now. They just think we'll buy it every year anyways. It's like that guy that starts screwing around at work because they want to get fired and they don't care. 21 was so bad that I didn't even buy 22. 23 was possible. 24 would be possible if you could get a **bleep** game! Hours spent waiting .so 25 no deal. It's the same game except your guy gets burned halfway up the ice and you can't recover. They should just put out a patch for NHL 24 instead of expecting people just to buy a PS5 to play it.  You cut out half of your market. I own a PS5 and I still won't play NHL 25. These people just don't give a crap anymore and have lost touch with their fan base. Make NHL 24 work. Let us actually get games instead of waiting endlessly. Bring back the ranking seasons for NHL 24. No one is buying NHL 25 because you don't care anymore

No. The speed that launched with NHL 25 last Friday is still the same as it is today. This has not changed.
