franchise Period Length?

It really can depend on how you play. 

I do minimal changes to my sliders, play on superstar difficulty and play a pretty realistic game experience. 

For me I play 4 minute lengths (so about 20 minutes real time per game). It lets me play a few games easily and overall game stats have been closer to realistic in NHL 25. Only issue I still have is penalties for myself or the AI.

I play similar game style with not adjusting anything. But does 4 minute periods match the cpu franchise simmed stats too?

I play 12 minute periods.  Just long enough that it seems like 20, but not so long that it takes a lot of time to get through a whole game.
