The setting for be a pro coach in how much the game adjusts coaching wise keeps resetting. Thats also been a issue for multiple installments.
the overall meter is also broken and does not move. also broken since 23
That's not a bug - that's a design choice. The game is over, your player is in the locker room getting changed.
If that was said id be fine with it but that was never mentioned. To my knowledge.
Back when they first made the switch to remove your jersey in the locker room (in NHL23 I believe), I posted an image of it on Twitter, and got a response from Dave Pritchett, the senior lead designer for presentation. I can't exactly find my twitter thread that I had regarding it anymore, but he said that it was a design choice.
