NHL 25 1.3.1 Patch Notes - Releasing 12/16

A new #NHL25 Patch will be available on Monday, December 16th at 1 PM ET.  Please complete all online games before this time as server instability is expected up to an hour after the patch deployment...

I know many of you are hoping for updates that aren't mentioned here. In order to get this out as quickly as possible, we needed to release what is essentially an emergency patch targeted at the critical issues introduced with the 1.3.0 patch. We don't have any updates on anything not mentioned in the 1.3.1 patch notes.

A few issues regarding franchise mode:

  1. Games played are not working correctly anymore. Had a season where team and players stats are bugging beyond 82 games. Began after the PWHL update.
  2. The Sim engine on medium has been messed up. I had a player score 195 points in a season. Highest I've seen in the 17 seasons before that, was 141 which was achieved only twice. Began after the PHWL update.
  3. The game freezes sometimes when resigning contracts.
  4. Reverse hitting hasn't worked at all over the past month (I know of in franchise mode, unsure what other modes are also affected)
  5. Menus seemed to have become even slower since the PWHL update as well. 

 

I pretty much only play franchise mode, so seeing these new issues arise as the year goes on is becoming frustrating.
