This is a fabrication and not true at all. If your opponents are consistently able to score "8 goals on 11 shots" - you have a defence problem.
the_forced_jedi wrote:The 3v3 World of Chel mode has become a hub for exploiters. It's filled with maxed-out builds, stamina glitches, and input manipulation that give unfair advantages. It’s making the EASHL Finals nearly unplayable for anyone playing honestly.
Again, untrue. You forgot to tell ChatGPT when generating this post that builds can't be 'maxed out' in this mode.

Your assertion of Cronus usage is a complete exaggeration.

- Max builds to me ( or pre-builds like Agent Blue Line, etc.. )
- Your answer is alarming and make it more suspicious ( can't expect someone who benefits from this way of gaming to understand )
- He's not the only one who knows about this elephant in the room, top YouTube players complain about it too.
- A.I. goalies are pretty silly too ( I agree and they get some of the blame)
- Even playing great defense doesn't stop the cheese/ goals
- EA has addressed Cronus Zen ( research it )
- It's ok that you like this game although your die-hard fan of an answer proves where you stand. Clearly you think the game is flawless ( you shouldn't be in this forum if so )
- Chatgpt.com doesn't bother me
- I tend to play with a lot of random players and ask how they feel about the state of Chel and guess what? We're not alone.
- Player count is the biggest indicator of how we feel, by no means does sit mean that all the blame is on WOC.
Lastly although your passionate answer shows where you stand, NHL is only going to continue losing it's players. Almost every match is a race to whoever does the exploitis quicker and better ( especially in the CLUB FINALS ) but I guess that's what today's gaming has come too.
If you benefit from exploiting/cheese and consider it " playing good " , that's good for you but that would mean whoever doesn't do the same is " playing bad " sorry, I don't buy it! Just like me, " your truth " doesn't mean that it's " The Truth" . Though I can't knock you defending do not complain if/when Chel disappears because it's not addressed. Your next forum will be about things EA can do to make the game fun on all levels. Also, Elite vs Bronze should only be a reality when the player count is low. Make it more simulation-like and less arcade-like.
I want this game to be fun and bring back the days of quick queue times and a high population. So instead of trying to nitpicking the post do us a favor, either help or mind your business and stay out of it, kindly and respectfully.
I can't stand when someone who benefits from a problem tries to debunk someone else's grivamces about a problem. This is makes the Devs keep everything the same.

One person on our forums doesn't dictate how the game is made. We use feedback from the community as a whole. While I fully agree the LT exploit needs to be fixed, there are no glitch goals that I'm aware of. Meaning, goals that are impossible to defend due to a bug in the game. At some point, people need to be accountable for their own play. Many don't realize the most simple mistake can drastically change the outcome of a game. That's the nature of hockey in general.

It depends what you consider an exploit. Some think the forehand-backhand is an exploit. Some say short side or far side shots are cheating. Some think one timers from the point is an exploit. The same goes for tips and rebounds. None of these are cheats or exploits. Your opponent is taking advantage of what you're giving them. There are plenty of teams/players that can stop these shots. Just like in real hockey, a team is going to find their opponent's weaknesses and exploit those.
In no way am I saying the game is perfect. It has its issues. No matter how good the game is, it's always going to be very competitive and people are going to use any advantage they can. This usually means going for high percentage shots. Which, again, reflects real world hockey.- gkai6132 months agoRising Rookie
At least we can agree there the game isn't perfect, it doesn't have to be. That's not the point. If you play, you should be aware of the overly repetitive Goal styles that I can exploit which I can choose to do but rather not. If this is the new way to " play good " then we are removing a big fun factor when it comes to competitive play.
BTW I've met Elite 1/Diamond 1 teams that beat us without using these " repetitive Goal styles. Some we have beaten too. The very few teams that have beaten us in that way have always been fun to play and exposed where we were weak. They made us look internally ( accountability) and switch our game plan while being excited to learn from more great teams.
I have faith, if I didn't I wouldn't be here. The population is LOW on Relaxed. Remember the days when it was Normal or even high? That should be a reality check.

These aren't max builds. They can attain higher levels in some attributes, yes, but they will lack in other areas where a custom build would be more balanced. People who play to the strengths of the builds are the best at this game. They're rewarded for being knowledgeable about what attributes best emphasis and enhance their own playstyle.

"This way of gaming" - you mean learning what the developers intended with each mechanic? Just because you can't master the nuance of the game doesn't mean those who do are "benefiting" from any kind of glitch or exploit. It's a vidoegame.

Who gives a flying @$#@ what some YouTubers think? The only goal for them is engagement. And the best way to get engagement in this sphere is by being divisive and dunking on videogame publishers while espousing how THEY think the game should be developed while having literally zero idea of what game development entails. The commentors stay engaged by yukking it up in the comments, getting their little 'likes' and whatnot - feeding that dopamine machine.
Meanwhile, there's zero substance other than "game bad, me good, me would be better game developer, everyone else idiot"
gkai613 wrote:

I'll agree with you there. There's some animation selection issues especially when the puck is in close. This plagues human goalies too.
gkai613 wrote:

Playing great defence will absolutely 100% stop the goals you see all the time. The reason you see the same goals being scored on you is because you're playing the same defence every game. I can't quite fathom how this doesn't click with people. Every single goal in this game is defendable and every single goal is the result of many decisions - not just one single pixel that allowed a puck to go through a poorly animated glove save.
gkai613 wrote:

Yes - one of the world's biggest game publishers is aware of cheating devices. However, if you did your research, you'd know there's literally 2 or 3 Cronus scripts for NHL - all of which were designed to make harder dekes just a button press. Now that the mechanics have changed to EA making these one button pushes (which still require time and space) the 'cheating' controllers are moot.

You don't get to tell people where they should or shouldn't be in a public forum. I do not think this game is flawless.

It's not surprising at all considering there's a winner and a loser in every online game. The losers typically will bash the game for their loss and asking them how they feel about Chel after a subpar performance probably has more to do with their feeling of the game they just played.
I've seen people hustle their player to red-line fatigue, get burned by a faster skater and yell "@##$ this game!".
I've seen players make rushed inaccurate passes and people yell "UGHGG I #$$#ing didn't pass it THERE! @#$ this game!".
Goalies who are all over the place, unwilling to master the controls, yelling "#$# THIS GAME! I was right there!". Meahwhile, they were not there and their flailing around the crease inhibited their ability to make a simple save.
It goes on and on.

The game is played daily by thousands of players. Our WoC team can find matches no problem, HUT matchmaking is almost instant, OVP is always full of players. If a few sore losers don't want to play the game anymore, that's cool - there's a lot more people who enjoy the game than don't.

Again - if you're seeing the same 'exploits' - it means you have a glaring hole in your defensive posture that's allowing it to happen.

Every player worth their salt who competes online knows how to defend against things that are currently unrealistic (no slow down from LTing, for example). Just because you can't defend against these things doesn't mean people are 'exploiting' them. I'm not saying you're 'bad' but maybe the competition level online is just too much.

If you don't want to be held to task for the claims you're making, then don't make them in a public forum.

Can you post a single video of a 'problem' you have with the game?

Lol....well my opponent quit after this ,why can't the goalies just simply cover the puck ,whether its in front of them or next to them they just can't cover the puck like they used to its ridiculous

You have bold claims like anything said can't be and isn't true. You would have to prove it just like I would have to prove it to you, so yeah a dead-end and a waste of response. Also, you sound like an undercover dev or one of those " Good players " playing " Good . " You're a fiery and funny one!

Speaking of ChatGPT, can you imagine when that gets added for announcers? I’m sure it will need a lot of trial and error at first but after the initial kinks have been worked out it’s gonna be pretty cool. At first though I’m sure those 1% of players that like messing with people will find creative ways to make the AI say offensive stuff.

For real! Imagine EA or others sports game developers making deals with real world broadcasters to use their voice. Then, they simply need to have AI generate the script for each recorded phrase in the voice of a real world broadcaster. You wouldn't even need them to come to the studio to record.
Moving further, you could strike partnerships with all NHL team broadcasters for their voice. Pump them into Ai and output unique commentary for every team.
It's a pipe dream but this is the kind of power of ai
