Can't load into EASHL club or drop in with friend

Can load into EASHL and the lobbies on our own, but get an error for failing to retrieve data when we try to join together.

    Hey there. I could use some more details. First, are you game sharing or did you both purchase the game? Also, is one of you on Xbox and the other on PS5? Is this happening in club play or are you in drop-ins? Thanks!

      We are not game sharing, we both own individual copies, and are both on Xbox. Did not have issues playing until the trial ended as he had the deluxe preorder, and I did not, so I was on the trial. This is occuring in both drop in and club play. We can both play solo without issue.

      This happened to me also. I was trying to play 3v3 club with friends and it is saying failed to retrieve data. We tried restarting a couple times. We are both on the same platform.

      It appears his game had not applied the launch day patch, also I played a game solo which may have helped to sync data. It is now working.

    edit: we both restarted consoles and seems ok


    Same, unable to join a lobby with my teammate. Tried club and drop-in 3v3 and 6v6. Directly and through an invite. Also unable to join Online Versus lobby.

    We are on PS5

      Make sure everyone has the update. You should completely exit out of NHL 25 and open again. You should be notified of the update then.

        Same issue. Rebooted, exited, signed out multiple times but i still cant join my friends in club 3v3. I was able to do a drop-in tho

  • We did an experiment: We hard reset the PS5 to factory settings. We downloaded NHL25, installed the latest updates, installed the latest roster and... nothing helped. Errors, errors, errors.

    “Game configuration failed.

    The game suffered a configuration fail. Please try again.”

    and

    ”ERROR
    Failed to retrieve data; please try again later.
    ERROR CODE:
    90529E1FE2CCB328-0000000000009999-9B3B600B30037892”

  • Hey I’m also having the same issue me and my friend are both playing on ps5 and if he is in the club dressing room I can’t join him and get the error saying failed to retrieve data getting with the code 74a3cbc2e17a5a17 000000000000000 e5813be8145a3d65 he will also try and join me when I’m in the club locker room and he will get the same result can you please help

        I’m having the same issue I haven’t been able to play for days. Someone needs to fix this.
