Constantly losing connection to servers

Wired connection with 700+ ms… no internet outages (tested with Verizon).  Losing connection in Rivals/Champs/moments/squad battles and constantly taking losses.  Never had this issue until NHL 25.  ...

    I'm on PS5 and I was trying to connect to games in WOC. I checked the error queue on the console and saw there were x3 DNS errors in the log.

    This video helped  took seconds and has seemingly stopped issues for now

Check your network cable to make sure it's at least Cat6 and is free of any damage.

Also, you can try using alternate DNS settings as mentioned in this article.

Make sure the firmware for your router is up to date.

As a test, you could try using a mobile hotspot. If you don't disconnect, that means the issue is with your ISP or home network. However, this will of course have a weaker connection. You'll most likely experience more lag. The point of it is to see if you stay connected. That helps narrow down where the issue is coming from.

Disconnected with a hot spot.  It’s connection to the server.  Two different people in chat from EA say it’s a known issue.

    Hotspots are always going to be a poor connection. I was hoping it would be stable enough to stay connected though. This definitely is not a known issue. If it were, we'd be getting far higher number of reports. That's just not the case. The best I can do is continue with connection troubleshooting. Let me know if you'd like to do that.

    Happening to me too, I get game configuration failed right before loading into a game and get kicked, or when it won't even let me enter WoC and it says Network Connection issue....and like OhheySiri , i have a wired connection and have wifi all over the house. I have AT&T as a provider as well. This is something between PlayStation and AT&T, I promise.

    This is an issue we're aware of and are hoping to fix with an upcoming patch. In the meantime, here are a few suggestions that have had some limited success with others:

    • Clear your system cache with these instructions.
    • Leave and rejoin the club
    • Have everyone leave and rejoin the club. It was reported this worked after multiple tries
    • Delete the club you were on when this issue started
