Hello. Are you in a more remote location? Online Versus doesn't take place on our servers. Either you or your opponent are the host. If one of you has a bad connection, both will feel it. This is most common though when you're in a less populated region since it means you're probably connecting to opponents a lot farther away. That's going to cause a less than ideal connection much of the time.

im in Québec , probably huge part of your market so i think you should think of a better way to match people or make some servers idk
