I recently tried the Xbox Ultimate Pass with Cloud Gaming (Beta), playing EA NHL 25 on PC. So far, the game has been very responsive with no frame rate issues. I have a modern desktop PC with Bell Fibe internet. I do not work for Bell and have not tried Rogers' new competing fibre internet. I also use a wired Ethernet cable, not WiFi. While it would be nice to have a PC version with enhanced graphics, as many PCs have better specs than the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming works. It is nice to play on PC again, without modding an old (owned) PC version with better graphics, newer rosters, etc., at your own risk.
Note: I did have fun modding the PC version to have CBC/TSN instead of EA default textures, etc., but modding runs into legal grey areas. XBOX Cloud Games (similar to many online games) cannot be personalized and customized, at least not without microtransactions through an in-game store, like an installed PC version could be.
