Players stats not being counted towards Objectives

I noticed that some of my player's stats are not being credited towards Objectives. For example, I am trying to finish the Florida Panthers Objectives and I have an Off the Charts Jay Bouwmeester and a HUT Icons Gord Murphy in my lineup and none of their goals, assists, or shots are being credited towards the Objectives. Are certain players not included for these Objectives?

    Alumni players don't count for the weekly team objectives. You need active players. That's why Bouwmeester and Murphy don't count. It has been like this for all weekly team objectives since launch. If alumni players were eligible for those objectives, they would say "any Florida Panthers or Florida Panthers Alumni player item". There is also a banner that showcases those objectives, and it says "Note: Complete objectives with active NHL players".
