Any reason why NHL can’t update player profile pics like FIFA does?
I just don’t get what’s the actual problem with updating player headshots in NHL. It should be one of the simplest things to do — yet every year we’re stuck with outdated or missing photos for key players and top rookies.
Meanwhile, FIFA (from the same publisher!) manages to update thousands of player photos in a single patch (last update edited/added 2000 photos). So why can’t NHL add or update even a few dozen?
At this point, it honestly feels like the devs either don’t care or just don’t consider this important — which is really disappointing for those of us who notice these details and care about authenticity.
I should have clarified. We can use the images that were provided before previous seasons. They're sent to us before the game launches. After that, we have to wait until next year's batch to be sent out.
