I want to bump this since I was logging in to write up the same thing. X-factors seem off per archetype. TWF not having Quick Picks does not make sense. The Grinder package seems a subset of PWF.
I’ve created BAPs for every archetype except Enforcer and played through opening day. They all play/feel similar. I worry we have lost a bit of their different play styles this year.
Btw, I like a lot of the other changes. I absolutely loved getting sent down to the AHL.
I don't mind getting sent down to AHL but if your having better games than some of the veterans, you should not go down or they go down with or before you. I know in madden 24 (not sure about the newer ones) your teammates got either good or bad stats the same as you. I know this thread is about X-factors but EA has Be A Pro geared from the X-factors all the way to form score all about you scoring goals and getting points. if my rookie has say 10-15 goals, 10-15 assists and 20 points the entire season, he's done well . Connor Bedard only score 22 goals, 39 assists so that's 61 points for the entire year. real good right? he had 5 goals and 2 assists, so 7 points his first 11 games. still good huh? well in his first 3 games (which this game evaluates you at in preseason) he had 0 goals, 1 assist, and 1 point and was -4 in +/-. did he get sent down to minors? heck no. EA needs to fix the entire BaP system. I love the concept of what they done, but the implementation of it is completely wrong. oh and my Dman enforcer has better stats for the first 11 games than Bedard. it's unrealistic for a rookie to have 82 goals, 82 assists (or a combination of the two), and 82+ points in a season. if they would listen to us and fix the form score and X-factors this mode would be awesome. Oh and fix the stupid AI teammates to.
