Ice Q
So what happened with ice q? I don't really play many game modes. Yet I don't really see it being shown off at all. Did I miss something? What was it's point? I am just curious not hating. Just gene...

When it comes to Form Score, I agree. I'm not a big BAP guy, but your comments are something I see often when it comes to that mode and the form score has been a pain point for almost everyone it seems. Hopefully that gets fixed up for '27.
Sadly, it looks like they will be moving to the direction of pay to win for offline modes too - that will be the way they fix it in the next few games. (CFB 27 is the prime example of this for RTG and Dynasty)
I'd advise on holding off on those assumptions. Not everything in every sports game we make is replicated across all of them.
I wasn't making assumptions - was looking at the new trend (is that not something that needs to be factored in) - EA is on a whole a company - mechanics need to be tested on a large market/playerbase to gauge the reaction and see how they would work in other titles. This is how they handled Ultimate team (released it on FIFA and Madden to guage how it went and added it to NHL a year later)

Honestly, if people want to pay to quickly max out offline coaches & players, I wouldn't blame EA for cashing in on that. You'd think the entire payoff for playing offline modes is accomplishing the goals to obtain the points required to eventually max those out but if some people just want to smash the CPU all day, then let them pay extra to do so. So long as it's kept out of multiplayer modes, it really has no impact.
Its the fact that they purposely removed options to gain xp faster to push you towards purchasing them (punishing you for playing it normally). They were in prior games however now you only have the slower options to gain xp. That is where the issue lies.
Also, I would see this as a test run to see how it works for a 2k style mode for your player career so online and offline. So it would be combined.
Yeah but they give you the option to earn X amount of XP if you purchase stuff from the chel store with your coins. 😏
I don’t really see the point unless they’re doing it to track/record how many users visit and use their coins in the chel store.
So for the current task/objective I used my coins to get 10 or so random items that I’m not even going to use just to get the XP. This leaves me with over 300,000 plus coins that are useless. Any equipment and clothing I wanted for my chel player I got within the first week or so of getting this game.
