Moderators need to look, player becomes slow and I get penalty delay of game

 This happens when the puck doesn't pass the center ice for like 30 seconds and the opposing offensive team doesn't touch it. Some teams like to hold the puck back and wait so EA made it so if that happens we call it getting quick sand. For us when the opposing team is on a PK and they want to try and kill it by sitting in their zone we contain but don't attack until this kicks in. From your video we can only see the tail end of it and when it kicks in. For the delay of game I got nothing as I have not seeing that happen other than shooting the puck over the boards in your own zone.

The lag has happened too numerous players. Its like your team is skating in wet cement

Hi there. This is intended. It helps prevent ragging the puck in your own end. This was a very common complaint for several years before it was implemented. Make sure you're moving the puck out of your own end to avoid the slow down penalty.

EA decided to cater to the Mary's who play a zero 5 and just stand on the blue line and these are also the same Mary's who won't attack on their own power play these were the ones who crying about puck ragging...funny thing they won't get rid of international ice though 

The chief complaint is not about the delay of game, but it’s is why I got the delay of game

The puck was dropped into my zone and I want to pick it up just before I get to the red line my player completely dies and then drifted into the board…

If you watch the video, you can see it, and when I come off the board, he will not skate even though he is 3/4 full of green

His sluggish and he won’t move. That’s why I’m trying to turn away from the player that’s attacking me, but I can’t get away fast. He’s not responding.!!!!

This is my issue why is he not responding? It’s not a Internet issue. It’s just he. will not skate fast, he cumbersome and slow suddenly….

then as I’m leaving the zone, I am getting into the center right I get a delay of call…. Why? 

I am not ragging the puck at all, but I get penalized for some kind of code issue in the game…. Because it’s not an Internet connection and it’s not my remote…..

Holding the puck in your own end for too long will cause this to happen. You had a player open for a pass to quickly get the puck out of your zone. That would have avoided the slow down. I understand you're not ragging in the traditional sense, but it still falls under the same situation since you're skating behind your net with the puck.

Hey Aljo, are there any indicators of when you will get the slow down?  We know the mechanic is there (and understand why its there) but occasionally get bit by it when trying to setup a breakout.  Would be good if there were some cues.  In the NHL, if the away team holds the puck too long behind their net, the home crowd will start booing.  May be a good indicator in-game that you need to move the puck as the slow down is coming.
