Hi there. You need to get drafted first. Then when you start a new career, you'll be able to start directly in the NHL.

In my first Be A Pro game, I simulated until an NHL team choose me in a Draft (They ask you a question about which team you'd like to join, and then the team chooses you).

At that point, I saved the game, and when I started a new game, it let me directly choose the NHL team I wanted.

I hope they change this for NHL 27 because it was a real headache for me and for a moment I thought about stop play this year NHL 26...
