I should’ve said, unplayable in leagues where trucs are banned. Pretty much just have to stand there and hope for the best.
I hope they focus on defense as priority #1 over nerfing trucs.
Besides defense, I personally think the game is in a great spot. I don’t thinks it’s too fast. Just need my dman to get pokes and intercept pucks like last game cycle.
If you look at post game stats from last game cycle to now, you will quickly see that defense were averaging 7-10 interceptions. Now I only see 1-3 interceptions all game. That also attributes to the lower defensive rating that you see at the end of games. Used to average 90-100. Now lucky to get 70-85. Very demoralizing when being in perfect position and pucks go right through you. I understand it happening here and there but not this frequently
Truc in its current state is annoying, but so is wheels and EE. D guys need something to balance that out and truc does just that. Unfortunately can’t do much in competitive leagues that ban trucs

Hopefully, we'll see changes coming to truc. We'll have to wait and see if that happens or not. I've been getting a lot of poke checks, but there seem to be times when they're weaker than they should be or the puck is getting picked up again too easily. Attributes and XFs are going to play a role in that.
