yep. that's how the AI, on the other team, can pass so accurately when pinned on the boards the puck and their sticks go right through the boards and your stick. But MINE!? heck no. the puck either goes through my stick as I'm shooting or it gets stopped by one of theirs. this is ridiculous. and even with this perfect screen shot it won't matter because you didn't send a video

A video would be nice to provide a bit more context.   

I'm assuming the player in red is a defender that either dove or went down on one knee in an attempt to block a pass or shot and the puck went through the shaft of their stick?  If that' the case, the most likely explanation is that the defender's stick is also phasing through a part of the goalie model ( it looks like a goalie pad in the top right corner ) which disables the stick's ability to interact with the puck.  I'm not defending the way the game works here, but that's almost certainly what's happening.

I mean, you will have to spell it out because its clear nobody at EA know what a defenseman is what what hes supposed to be doing.  So they wont understand this.   

I dont even know why they bother with 2 defense players, their game is pretty much nhl Hitz where its all offense and hits.   The 2 cones, err defense with invisible sticks are just there to pretend they are in an nhl game but they cant bother the danglezsnipez kids too much while they ballerina around the ice. 

Opponent was going back hand forehand across the crease and he scored , it wasn’t an own goal.. he succeeded going backhand for hand !! Even had that clean snap shot sound 

even if it is the goalies pad the point is there should be no "phasing" at all. the puck looks like it is not near the goalie yet so the defenders stick SHOULD have deflected the shot. I posted a video on another thread where the opposing AI player was pinned on the boards but he made a full hard pass BEHIND him to a teammate. his stick went through the boards like they were not there. I cannot do that. my stick either deflects off the boards or I cannot make ANY pass. I even had a video where we were in open ice and the puck passed through my stick like it wasn't there as well. just make the game fair.
