Kind of regret even getting NHL 26 for free as this games so buggy and these updates to fix all the issues take up so much space. We have more ongoing problems within this game and no communication from our dev team has been conducted? Currently the servers keep crashing costing many of us games and nothing is being done about it? Where is our production leader? Consumers paid for this we should have something done or does the EA NHL leadership not care anymore? Absolute disgrace

There was a time in the old forums the devs would try to communicate but people were so fed up with aspects of the game they became so bitter and angry they just couldn't be civil (not defending the devs at all, a lot of them were clapping back and made things worse); this created a perfect poop storm that gave them a good excuse to cut most, if not all, forms of communication going forward.There is so much red tape behind their responses now I see it as literally impossible to have any sort of meaningful conversation now. The only way the community can make a point now is through their wallets (of course, the HUT whales and people who donate to streamers will see this never happens)

You answered your own question. EA doesn't care. They have our money. All they are concerned about. NHL 26 is NHL 25 with a different cover player.

There have been many who have provided videos regarding discrepancies in this game. The frustration boils over, when these discrepancies are not addressed and rectified. I have read numerous comments on this forum over the past couple of years. And most circle back to problems that have been vented by the community way too many times. No one expects this game to be perfect. It never will be. But what they expect is. To be listened too, and maybe just maybe, the comments they put out would be met with recognition and an attempt for correction.

I know EA_Aljo that you are in a very difficult situation and you have to deal with a lot of angry comments. BUTIf players are angry and demanding changes to the game, maybe something should be done about it? Perhaps players are just tired of your answers often being the same: "We are aware of the issue..." "its under investigation" but nothing happens? no updates? I understand that you are just delivering messages so its not my intention to blame you. Just saying.A normal gaming company fixes the bugs and problems that players complain about. Especially things that are critical and really important.Same thing happens every single year. Last year we were waiting updates, then devs published new matchmaking. And that is still broken. You obviously have a very small team working on the NHL game.I would like to ask the game director one question:Why are you using your limited resources on things that no one has complained about? And very important issues that are constantly being complained about, such as penalties have still not been fixed. I could even bet that this penalty issue wont be fixed.Sorry to say this.. i dont want to be mean but i really dont have much faith in the team developing this game anymore.Perhaps the team needs new leadership or something. The game isnt really progressing anymore.

This forum is nothing more than a complaint or accolade regarding the game. It allows players to vent. It has moderators to keep civility. And as for the developers actually seeing these messages or texts. Its highly unlikely. Like the response you get back from the moderator. I will pass it on. As for them actually paying attention, the odds are i would say 99 to 1 they don't. Either that, or. They just ignore any and all. So. This forum, will not get you the results you suggest or want. Year after year is the proof they are not listening. Same complaints and beefs. And still no resolve.

We'll have to wait until future updates to see if the issue with penalties is addressed. I know it's a very big issue for many of you and have relayed that to the team.

When searching a game with full squad. You can get opponent who have bots in their team.

Do you mean AI players or bots showing up when there are humans in the game? I had that happen once when a game started, but we got an unknown error and crashed.

When are you getting them and what are they?

Game just cant find opponent and yes 110% sure that others searching too. We have also passwords in Europe what we use. Reboot helps.

Is your club in a region where there's a lower population of players? Do you have members that are in different regions? That can make it more difficult to find a decent ping so the player pool will be lower. Especially, if you're in a region with less players.

How many big updates did EA release for NHL25? Like 2 or 3 ?
Im just trying to say that EA doesnt update the game very often. Most of the updates are very small.

I'm seeing 9 patches for NHL 25.

In any case i think resources could be use more wisely. And when you add something new to the game that changes it significantly maybe it would be a good idea to ask the community for their opinion.

With the very short window to build the game each year while supporting the current game, this is a challenge. If we put out notice of features coming a year or so down the road, I could see this being more realistic. I would like to see community feedback get addressed more. However, we also make a lot of changes based on what is reported by the community.

And like i said you clearly have a very small team working on this game and devs are very busy so please stop creating unnecessary extra things to the game. By this i mean all cosmetics (hats, mask etc) and background stuffs.. Im pretty sure that most of us in the community want fully working and realistic hockey game instead of silly hats.

I would love to see these limited to casual modes. Or at least a toggle to not display them in club games. Like the majority of you hear, I prefer a more authentic hockey experience.

Man, now that the game has been out for a bit and everyone can see it’s a massive failure, matchmaking in WOC has been DREADFUL. On top of the time-wasting dressing room bugs that have been here for 10 years, there’s no matchmaking settings AGAIN. So it’s play menu simulator until you find an actual team, or deal with the insufferable AI on the other team that completely sucks any joy left in this sorry excuse for a game. You’re telling me matchmaking settings were fine to have when the entire game was split into 4 PLATFORMS (old gen new gen Xbox ps) but now that everyone is on one platform we can’t have matchmaking settings?EA_Aljo can you please explain that logic?

Maybe if you released an actual product that works as advertised, the work load post-release wouldn’t be so heavy. Like really Aljo, just a bit of common sense will take you to the root problem.

And still no news on offline gameplay issues ie, cpu stick penalties missing, the animation is there but no penalties for the cpu other than holding and xcheck, I've had 1 cpu trip penalty given in 30 hours of gameplay, just unbelievable. The cpu just pushing to get the puck doesn't use poke check at all. This is the worst game in history

Hi there. Since we haven't announced the next patch yet, we can't say if new content will be included.

Since we don't have the licensing for NCAA, I don't see those players being added.

I get it that the devs don't want to come to this forum anymore, but it would be nice if they had their own blog or a feed of some kind where they could communicate at least roughly what they're working on. The more we know, the better!
It would be like having a "weather forecast", and roughly know what to expect, if something you want desperately is being worked on or at least what is currently deemed more urgent to fix than your problem.
Like my favorite NHL insider Chris Johnston have said, and it applies here too:
“Teams need to sell hope or wins.”
And I think we can agree that the general mood in here (and comment sections on social media) is that the current state of the game is not a exactly on a winning streak right now. No playoff this year, mmm? A lot of the frustration comes down to knowing that things are not good, but not knowing anything about if it might be a part of the next update or not.
Me personally, I don't need to see a timeline, deadline or estimated time when a problem will be solved, but it would be greatly appreciated to have an idea of what is in the pipeline of fixes. A little information goes a long way!

Will patches include new content? Can we ever expect NCAA players available as prospects? I hate losing important prospects like Gavin McKenna in the game.
