I've been enjoying the Cup Chase and Wildcard but am still extremely irritated that EA thinks Superstar mode means that the CPU should score a goal on 50% or more of their shots. Have to hold them to a couple shots per game and even then I have seen it where I outshoot them at a 10 to 1 ratio (with high quality shots, not just ripping it from the blue line) and lose because the CPU goalie plays out of his mind while my goalie lets in muffins and horrifically angled slapshots from a mile away with no screens. Really takes away a bunch of immersion when you completely dominate but lose because the CPU is given aim hacks.

I dont really understand why there are difficulty levels in HUT single player. You play any of the higher difficulties, and the HUT 'cards' become irrelevant. Any 74 OVR guys can snipe my 84 Ottinger with the softest wristers, or get a juicy rebound, so another CPU player can score. Or your hustling 86 Selanne is slower than any CPU defence man backskating...
And why is it the CPU players almost always pass perfectly and always get to loose pucks first? It's like your players are sluggish, dumb and generally not interested in the puck.
The difficulty in HUT single player should be about the HUT cards, you want to up difficulty, you use higher OVR CPU players. CPU players should play according to their values, so the playing field is level.
