Be A Pro: Traits and X-Factor Points Do Not Save

Using the “Confidence” trait from the character creation interviews, I had completed the gold medal match of World Juniors. In the following interview with the “Confidence” trait, I chose to earn +2 Trait Points and +2 X-Factor Points. I spent the two trait points in Skating and Acceleration as I do every BAP year and decided to save the two X-Factors for the first Memorial Cup match.

While progressing time, I realized I overcapped on my Energy resource and decided to reload my save after the gold medal match so I could be sure to spend my energy better. Upon reloading, I noticed my traits were once again locked with 0 points to spend and same for the x-factor points. It’s as if the interview to earn those points never took place and progressing time just proceeds without the match interview, so those points are lost. 

Pretty frustrating even though this happened literally two games into my save file, because I reported a bug last year about not receiving credit for unlocking Heatseeker in BAP as well. Shiny new BAP interface but still similar issues that make the game mode undesirable to play. 

Also something else that I found odd: Snipers in BAP have 2 full lines of options when it comes to X-Factors. All other forwards only have 1 line of sub-par choices. Do the devs think everyone plays Sniper in BAP so they didn’t take the time to add X-Factors to all the other archetypes?
