Every BAP goalie style is the same.
I will with hold all the comments here and just provide facts.. But know this is not acceptable.
In EANHL’26. All goalie styles have the exact same attributes regardless of what you choose. Whether you are choosing Stand-up, Hybrid, or Butterfly, all attributes are the same. I went back to NHL’22 to look up what each style started you off with and this is what a goalie would get in NHL’22
NHL’22-Standup: 5Hole=65 Gllove High/Stick High=85. Glove Low/Stick Low=70. Speed=79
NHL’22-Hybrid: 5Hole-81. Glove High/Stick High=82 Glove low=80 Stick High=82. Speed=75
NHL’22-Butterfly: 5Hold=85. Glove High/Stick High=65. Glove Low=85. Stick Low-84. Speed=70
NHL’26- StandUp, Hybrid, and Butterfly: GL-High/Stk High=85. GL-Low/Stk Low=70 Speed=65.
There will be slight variations depending on your interview answers, but those numbers are the base for every style of play. How does a Butterfly goalie have a 68 when it comes to a 5 Hole rating but an 85 for glove high and stick high? It appears the default is for a stand-up goalie since the first and the other two were not coded into the game.

Calendar missing from BAP: cant view the schedule, advance to a specific date, cant see when the trade deadline is coming up.
Cant view Lines during your initial summer. (Since I haven’t played past Oct, I cant tell if it’s missing during the offseason after the initial offseason).
Cant see how much your ELC contract is unless you go to the View Lines option.
Goalie Stance #26 looks horrendous. Looks like a reverse ski jump on the goalies back and the jersey is distorted and the limbs move. The limbs do not look attached to the body. Goalie movement looks Alien like
In fact, I will list all of the goalie stances where the jersey looks distorted: 3, 8, 10,19,21 (glitchy at Mid numbers), 22, 25 Glitchy, 26, 30, 31,33,34,35(Goalie has a muffin-top), 36,40,41,56. When played the name or number is distorted. This wasn’t a factor in any previous years.
Can we have the option of changing goalie stances? It sucks to pick a stance and just be disappointed to see the jersey look so bad.
Controller settings are still not saving: Been reported since EA introduced the “tethering” system. There is no way to save your controller settings. Controller Settings Option shows up ONLY when you begin a game. There is NO other way to custom your controller settings. It’s annoying to see the intro, then have to pause the game to adjust controller settings. Must this be done in other sports games?
Form Score: There are tons of posts about this. I wont rehash
Salary Perks: why cant I see what I can buy and why cant I buy perks whenever I want? Why must I wait until the computer lets me go to the store? There is no way for me to buy any perk when I want to.
Thats for what is in the game now. Quick wish list.
- Allows the buyer of your program to view transactions of the League? Who’s been traded, who is hurt, who was sent down, etc.
- Can we view lines from other teams? This way I can see which line to pair up my team against? Which lines to fear and which lines to dominate?
This is just what I see now.. No doubt more to come. But please address these issues. There in the previous NHL editions. Should be in this one.
