Game freezes, lags and speed up.

Reached out to ISP they're having zero issues on their end and they ran me through troubleshooting tips. Again everything else works fine on everything I play. I'm in a league so you guys have to fix this, this is insane and so unfair.

Thanks for the clips. I know this would be very frustrating. We'll keep monitoring our servers for any issues. At this time, we're not aware of any that would cause this.

Can you confirm you're using a wired connection? When you go to the network settings screen on your PS5, does it say you're wired?

Have you also tried using a different ethernet cable? How far is the router from your console? Have you checked to make sure the firmware is updated on both the modem and router? Or the modem/router if you have a combo unit provided by your ISP.

Yeah I can confirm it says wired. Nat type 2. My other games on the same console don't experience this. All the family members in my house don't experience this wired or wireless. My modem is brand new my ISP was incredible helpful and knowledgeable. It's just this game all these clips it happens twice a period even more. I'm getting close to being done and dropping from my league calling playstation up for a refund this is ridiculous.

  Something is causing packet loss. This is why you're getting that lag. There are a lot of different variables at play so it's not something we'd be able to diagnose. Especially not when reports of this same issue are so few. Do you play any other online modes in NHL 26? If so, does this also happen in them?
  
  Are your family members also gaming or are they mainly online streaming media and doing general internet use? Video is buffered so when there's a small amount of packet loss, it typically won't be noticed. A game like NHL requires a very stable connection so even the smallest amount of packet loss is going to be noticed. It's a lot more demanding than something like watching TV/movies.
