Game Still Crashing

Alright at this point I have tried absolutely everything to fix NHL26 from crashing besides buying a new console. I have two Xbox series X’s due to traveling from different states and had this issue constantly on my original Xbox series X. Every game I play besides NHL runs flawlessly and I cannot say the last time it crashed. From playing hours of MLB I believe I have never once crashed mid game. I ended up buying a new Xbox for my alternate location so I wouldn’t have to pack my Xbox whenever I traveled and it is about 4 months old now and am still having the crashing issue on this game. Tonight I tried to play hut and 2/3 games have crashed. One being in the third period and the other one was 2 minutes into the first period. I have gotten my Xbox’s professionally cleaned, purchased an expansion card, upgraded internet, spent hours on threads and many videos on how to fix this issue, and truly seems there is absolutely no fix. I will not purchase another new console as my other one that is only 4 months old has this problem as well. What I have gathered it is something with an Xbox series X and every other console does not have this issue. Ea has no fix or solution to this so I would advise if you only play NHL do not purchase an Xbox series X as this game is literally unplayable on it. Doesn’t matter what mode you play. Doesn’t matter what you do to try and fix it. It will crash non stop. It is so frustrating as truly any other game you play will run with no issues at all. Just don’t waste your time or money trying to fix it. Nothing will work. This issue has been going on for a few NHL year cycles and still no fix.

    I don't believe I said this was solved. While we haven't been able to reproduce it, it's obvious something is going on. We will continue to watch for it. Unfortunately, without a way to reproduce this, we can't fix it.

    They’ve known about it for over a year and haven’t done anything. Like so many people have said it’s all ea games and there’s gotta be something they can change or fix

    sadly this freezing then crashing issue during gameplay has been an issue on Madden for a few years as well as CFB both 25 and 26.  Its an EA issue. EA tried blaming gamers consoles (specifically day one Xbox Series X’s) however PS5 users were having the same problem. there is currently an entire thread on the CFB 26 forum with around 1,000 comments about this very problem…...  I am very confident that they are all related as they are all built on the same gameplay engine. Unfortunately my level of confidence that EA will identify the issue, let alone rectify it, is extremely low.

    Unbelievable you can’t recognize a problem with Ea NHL that’s been going on over a year for some of us. Both 25 and now even worse in NHL 26 the crashes occur at any time. I have an Xbox x. Fully ventilated with extra fans. Why doesn’t this problem go to someone above you?  To say “problem solved” is so inappropriate and even insulting. I’ll spend no more money on this game until the issue is remedied. “Problem solved”. You should be ashamed of yourself.

    Hi there. I too have 2 Series X consoles. Neither one of them has ever crashed. Of course, that's not the case for some of you so I'm not saying that because it doesn't happen to me, there's no issue. One of the guys on my club with a Series X had a crash recently.  One is a day one console and the other is about a year old. So, we need to figure out what's different with some consoles that is causing this. Possibly, it's account related. It might be an issue with the customization on your player. It's definitely an odd issue since there are so few of you, when compared to the overall playerbase, that are experiencing this.

    Also nothing against you guys ea I just truly wish I could play this game. I have been playing since NHL09 and played every year since. This issue really started occurring often for me in NHL25 and the issue is so bad I will crash 2-3 times a night. Sometimes you can get 1-2 games in but you have the constant thought in your head that the next game will crash. Which I have noticed most of the crashes happen after 1-2 games. Then from there it is completely random when it will finally crash. Usually 2nd or 3rd period. It would be amazing if you guys could please look into this issue as I truly love this game and know many others have this issue. Even if it is an Xbox thing it would be amazing to know that purchasing an Xbox S over a series X would fully fix the issue. As someone who owns 2 Xbox series X’s I can confirm this issue occurs on both.
