Nhl auction house actions limited

Hi,

Playing NHL 26 for the second day now. Today when I tried to buy players from auction house, the game said that the auction house is restricted for me and I can buy any players. 

This seems intentional and maybe not a bug, but if so, why? I paid a lot of money for the game and also bought some packs on top of that, but now I cant use the auction house to get me players to play with? This really limits my HUT play, since it seems I can buy players again only at late this evening next time. Is this really necessary?
