WoC 3v3 penalty shot desync

There is some issue that causes a major desync and eventual game crash in 3v3 WoC. I have series X but my buddy has the standard xbox.  Several times right after a penalty, my buddy get stuck into a super slow motion replay. The rest of us are looking at frozen players on the ice. We can’t continue until the replay completes for my buddy. 

Things go fine after that but every replay or end of period highlights go super slow for him. Eventually he gets dashboarded as the game crashed .

    Hi, a couple of questions:
    1. This issue occurs in NHL 27 WoC?
    2. Can you please DM your Xbox gamertag and the friend you are trying to play against?
    3. When you say your buddy has the standard Xbox, you mean a Series S?

    I play regular franchise and mine does the exact same thing.  Post goal replays creep at snails pace.  I just usually skip thr replays and it is fine.  Never freezes.  But i dont get to see alot of the new replay animation.  From time to time it works fine at the beginning of the game for maybe 2 or 3 replays and then it defaults to creeping at snails pace again for the rest of the game.  I tried playing with my system offline to see if maybe there were just a lot of players logging down the system.  But it does the same thing offline.  I have an XBOX Series S.  This never happened in NHL24, 25, or 26.  Its also never done this for previous EAS titles like Madden.
