The fact EA denies level changes speed is ridiculous. They ask for proof, when anyone with half a brain who plays or watches a game can easily see it. On high levels, I can barely hold the puck for 2 seconds before some slow guy zooms past me and steals it, or some little guy pummels my big player. It's similar to MLB, where you notice your 99 Babe Ruth has similar stats to your 85 Babe Ruth you had to start the season against the same teams. If speed and other stats don't change, how do the levels differ? How would a goalie be harder to score against if the stats don't change? In this week's moments, how is 83 Kadri blazing past my Schaefer to retrieve pucks down the ice when I Schaeffer is full speed with a head start. No, it isn't Kadri's "sparklug" X factor. The only way for them to legitimately make the levels harder is to have us play better teams with higher ratings, which they don't. 2K used to do this, not sure if they still do. MLB (in most cases) and the EA games don't. It's like ESO or Destiny where your enemies are whatever level you are, making getting more levelling armor pretty much pointless. Same thing here.
So ya, if the computer doesn't get better players or stats, how are they so much better on Superstar than Rookie?
