The reward discrepancies are staggering, people don't want to play competitive because the servers suck and the hockey is atrocious. I would understand if EA wants HUT to only be online but then they should just say it.
Community ManagerWe're not aware of any issues with the servers. That's not something we really get many reports on. Of course, there are some reports of connection issues. The majority of the community is not experiencing them so we would need to go through connection troubleshooting to try to find out why yours isn't good. Let me know if you want to do that. Otherwise, we'll keep monitoring for any issues with the servers.
I absolutely agree. The progression is slower due to FAR less XP given out. Rewards are terrible. The sliders are turned up so high that if you play anything higher than Semi pro the casual player is toast. I've been playing for 2 years now. Played superstar all thru 24 and part of 25. Then they jacked up the tuners and now I can't play higher than semi pro. The CPU are gods. They bloch 25 shots a game, get a stick on everything. Their sticks are puck magnets. Every time they touch you your slammed. The goalies are all posting .900+ save percentages. It's ridiculous. Unless you play this game 40 hrs a week you have no chance. MAKE OFFLINE PLAYABLE!!
EA releases exclusive cards only for ranked, which should say it all.
Offline players are second-class gamers for EA, even though more people play NHL games offline than online.
